Twin Peaks Revival Teased Again With Mysterious Puzzles

The cult TV show Twin Peaks returns to screens next month, but so far we’ve barely seen any footage from the show. The cryptic marketing continues with the latest set of teasers, which take the form of mysterious word puzzles. Check the first out below, and the rest at the end of this story–and if you figure them out, let us know in the comments!

New cast images from the upcoming new season were revealed last month. These follow several teasers, including co-creator David Lynch snacking on a donut in character as Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole, composer Angelo Badalamenti performing some of the show’s haunting music, and a compilation of the many moments the characters have enjoyed coffee.

The two-hour premiere of the new Twin Peaks season debuts on Showtime on May 21 at 9 PM ET, and the following two episodes will be available online immediately afterwards. The season will comprise 18 episodes, and Lynch has described the show as “a feature film in 18 parts.”

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, actor Kyle McLachlan spoke about what it was like to return as the show’s main character, Agent Dale Cooper. “A little weird,” he admitted. “Familiar, but not as familiar as I thought it would be. I’m different. Cooper is–will be–different. But the core of him is still there. When I walked on the set and David saw me, we were smiling from ear to ear.”

Twin Peaks originally ran from 1990-91 on ABC, followed by a prequel film, Fire Walk With Me, in 1992.

Disclosure: Showtime is a division of CBS, which is GameSpot’s parent company.
